Did you know that, thanks to a few endowments our district grant committee has been able to increase funds for district and global grants and disaster relief for the past several years? You can designate as little as $1,000 in your will and become a Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation.
As your chair of the district endowed gifts, I want to ask you to consider making a “planned gift” to the foundation this year end.

I know we haven’t talked much about “planned giving” but I can assure you “leaving a legacy” with a planned gift makes a huge difference to what we do and how we can serve the future.

Rotary has several opportunities to make endowed gifts. Members now can establish a donor advisory fund, establish charitable gift annuity, and make a bequest to honor of a loved.

We are grateful for several members who have made these gifts. But did you know every member can “create a legacy” by naming the Rotary Foundation-Endowed share in their will for only $1000?

If more of our members do this, believe me it will make a difference in our district and the communities we serve.

For more information about creating a legacy and naming Rotary in your will, please contact the foundation (https://rotary.planmygift.org/), me (Jeff Smith) at jesmith58@msn.com or Mick McKinley at mick.mckinley71@gmail.com.

Thank you for the work and for all you do to make Rotary an important part of the world. Please consider making “planned gift” to the foundation. It will go a long way to give Rotary and our district a brighter future.
